John Dawson, Owner

John served in the U.S. Coast Guard for over 25 years. He retired in 2016 and started Dawson Marine Services. His experience is in vessel Piloting, Navigation, Electronic Installation, Vessel Electrical, Rigging,, Engine repair, Preventive Maintenance, Line Splicing, and Fiberglass . His vision for the future of the company is to provide his customers with the knowledge they need to keep there boats in top running condition.

Cole Dawson, Technician

Cole graduated Coral Shores High School where he studied Marine Mechanics. Cole has a strong mechanical aptitude and takes the lead on complex jobs. Recently Cole replaced the the clutch gears in a MG 5111 Twin Disc transmission, installed new throttle controls and cabling, trouble shot numerous electrical problem with the vessels 12, 24, and 32 volt systems, replaced Sea Star steering system seals. Along with his ability to diagnose mechanical problems, Cole has installed complex electronic navigation systems. Dawson Marine Service invested in TEXA's marine diagnostic, IDC-5 software. Cole is our lead in the development of these systems in our company.
